So i was playing about with my excel playing a few game when all of a sudden it just froze on me and shut itself down (sob sob) and now wont turn back on!! well i think its not coming on?? the speaker is making a hissing sound then when i hold the power button down it turns off, also when i plug in to the USB the screen blinks and the speaker comes on?? i did an update through live suite to I.C.S 4.0.3, over a year ago and i'm trying to do a reflash through live suite, hoping its a software fault but its not picking it up through live suite, just to double check i'm doing this right, right downloaded live suite, image of I.C.S 4.0.3. running live suite selecting the image to flash, holding down the vol + or home button and pressing the power button 6 to 10 times but nothing!!! so looking for abit of advice please thanks all

Unfortunately this sounds like it may be a hardware failure.
