The only place you are likely to get stock firmware for the Excel III is to contact Storage Options direct. Unfortunately, they are not very forthcoming in this situation.

Unfortunately this does not surprise me at all and to suggest you get the firmware from another device is unbelievable!
I wonder what they would think if I suggested that to cure their indigestion that they find someone who will let them carry out open heart surgery on them.
