TBH - I don't see what the difference is between this "new" Excel III and the Evoke is, (apart from the name) do you?

Think I'm going to have lay off the Absinthe for the weekend. Just read the Excel III spec and I'm sure I'm seeing double! Looked just like the spec of my Evoke too.

In the picture it looks like the battery is 2700mAh, although it still says 3000 in the text

Also the reference to the screen being IPS has gone

Oh - I see, so the Excel III does not have an IPS screen. - Better off with the CnM Touchpad 7" 16GB Tablet only £10 more and has better specs (just)

It seems I was correct:

"The Scroll Excel III does indeed share many of the same, great features as the Evoke, including Dual Core processor, Quad Core graphics and the latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Operating System. The main differentiator, as you have identified, is the IPS screen, which is not a feature of the Excel III."
