Hi,

Had an email from BT this morning after having infinity installed last week about an offer on a Scroll Excel 54585. I've been debating getting an iPad recently but this looks really good after a little reading.

The only thing I need to know, which I cant seem to find an answer for, is if these tablets can view magazines? Id like to stop buying hardcopies of my magazines and just view them on a tablet, to which I know the iPad can do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pete

Hi Pete & welcome to the forum,

The Excel is more than a capable device to view magazines on, as along as the producers of the mags' you want provide a copy and/or way to view them on an Android device. So the only issue you would have here is if they only provide a way to view their mag on ipad, then it won't work on the Excel.

Thanks for the reply Charlie. I'll have to look around and see then I guess. I found an app called Zinio which seems to have a few of he mags I like to read, just hope it's downloadable onto the Excel!

P.s is your profile pic off a game called Day of the Tenticle?

Just in case you have an issue getting the Zinio app via market, I have downloaded the app to here, enjoy.
