Hi guys

Just got a new Scroll Excel.
Does anyone know how to access the Android Market with ICS 4.0 operating system?

I think all the guides are for ICS 2.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

I haven't tried this with stock ICS as I am running Suggsy's ICS 4.0.4 on my Excel which Google Play thinks is now a Samsung GT19001 so I get access to a lot more apps than a stock unlicensed Scroll Excel. So one answer to your question might be to consider upgrading.
Have you tried downloading the Google Play app through your browser - does this work?
You should be able to access something on the market even if it's only basic stuff.
Let us know how you get on. :)

Oh wow thanks trashcooky. I did it through my browser and it seems to be working! I'm filling the tablet with educational games and giving it to my 3 year old as a present so I don't really need access to everything on the market. I may try upgrading as you suggest if I think I can manage it! (not technically minded).

Thanks again!

Sounds great I am sure she will love it - I gave my 7 years old grandson an Excel and he is ecstatic about it. :D

oops, the screen went faulty on the second day! A green line that wont go away appeared from top to bottom. Must say though that Storage Options are doing backward flips to sort it out for me. Very very good customer service.
