Noticed this on AMAZON

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006 ... =&v=glance

Looks a godo price for a slightly higher spec than the Excel/Astro I recently pruchased... I noticed on my box it had 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB boxes on the side, with the 4GB ticked.

How easy would it be to put a 16GB memory unit in instead of the 4GB?

Anyone tried it? I have a 32GB SD card on its way, but with this I'd have 56GB... impressive :)

You would need to get a 16gb nand chip same make as the one in your tablet, desolder it from the pcb, replace it with the 16gb nand chip and reflash ICS

Alot of messing arround in my opinion.

Anyone else noticed the practice being adopted lately on Amazon tablets that they have started adding the CPU max and the GPU max together so that 1.2Ghz CPU and .4Ghz GPU now equals a tablet rated at 1.6 Ghz

You are of course quite right and I shouldn't be so shocked - but then again Look at my avatar and you can guess why I get so peed off about things like this.

I work for an Test & Measurement (oscilloscopes, data loggers etc) manufacturer, and all of our Engineers are clever buggers, can solder bloody anything...

What about the memory module, from 512Mb to 1GB? Much involved there?

Thanks guys :)

Ooooohhhhh

Also, I have noticed some lag on the TV from the Tablet.... could this be the cable or the processor of the tablet?...Considering its only a 2D stadnard signal... surely the tablet shouldn't be struggling?
