Hi All,

Our Cyclone Astro (sumvision re-badged it) turned up today, and research before purchase revealed the Scroll Excel

So, first plan tonight to update to ICS (currently downloading at work as its uber fast)... anything else I should know?

welcome to the bright side
maybe get clockworkmod and do a backup first (just in case you want to go back to GB) also make sure that the correct drivers are installed on your pc for livesuite to work read the thread thoroughly as everything is in there most problems have been answered and remember everything that you do is your risk

Sadly I didn't see the replies and did ICS last ngiht... its a cracking system... but I can't find half the apps on the market... and I know there were there yesterday as I DL'd them!... So what'd the deal?

You will need to unlock the apps, you will need to modify your build.prop to that of an other device and may be swap or add some other system files

OK, so I need to view a few threads on here and go from there. How much of a ball ache is it? How much time do I need to allow?

I have not MODDED the tablet yet, simply updated to ICS

Quite happy to take a look over weekend, but I see you are kind of a guru, so feel free to tutor me, or if you are bored do it

I am using work PC tho, and I'd rather have my PC at home as the one I "use" with the tablet on a regular basis (as tablet won't be coming to work much, its just I am showing it off lol).

Look at my ICS update, pull the build.prop copy the fingerprint of the Samsung Galaxy 2 push it back to the device
