Now I may be new to this but, I don't recall seeing anything on the SO w/site describing an Excel as having GPS and Bluetooth capabilities. If this is true can someone ellucidate??
I spotted this on Amazon and am a wee bit suspicious.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007 ... e=&seller=

Of course it would be fantastic ! So the next bit is ..... can one attach use a micro bluetooth dongle to either the Excel or Extreme to use with keyboards or a BT GPS device ??

nice find, thanks. The ones we have do NOT have bluetooth or GPS built in, from looking at your link it looks like it could be a new model as it's referred to as the Scroll Excel+ (instead of just Scroll Excel) - Also it could be a con.

UPDATE: I do think it's a new SO model

Scroll Excel+ is enhanced version of the original, award-winning, best-selling Scroll Excel. All the power and features of the original with the additional benefits of Bluetooth connectivity, GPS and an audio/visual input (to allow other devices to connect)

Wow !
I've not even seen it on their W/site !!
Guess that means an "Extreme+" can't be far away as they're are already 9.7"'s with it from Ployer I think, boy my lickle sis will not be chuffed !:(
Ta BTW

I'm guessing there's no way of adding BT capabilities then :( ??

Hi Paul, unfortunately this product doesn’t have GPS but it is something we are considering for future products. So thanks for suggesting. Best wishes, Chris

I know that "Storage Options" knocks them out, but if they wanted another headliner surely the Excel+ would be sporting ICS not 2.3 Gingerbread. I am very suspicious about this but then I am a Grumpy old man who doesn't trust anything that sounds too goo to be true. Time will tell. :|
