Hi
New to the forum having got my Excel yesterday.
I have an Asus Transformer TF101 with ICS and also my HTC Sensation with ICS, so want to update my Excel.
I have tried to instal CWM using a link from the forum (Suggsy89 script) but when I try to run the batch file I get an error message 'device not found'. USB debugging is on and I have tried USB storage set to on and off.
I am using the USB cable that came with the Excel - any suggestions as to why I am having a problem.
Running Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC.
Thanks

You have the Android SDK installed and the appropriate drivers?

Thanks suggsy89
Er - that would be a no, as I did not see any mention of them at the start of the post from Mitre.
I have downloaded them and will try to work it out again tonight.
Thanks

Tried to install CWM last night, but not sure if it worked as there was an error message:
'Running install script for CWM recovery for stock Excel with Gingerbread
remount successful
97KB/s (400 bytes in 0.004s)
4359 KB/s (6411264 bytes in 1.436s)
[:not found
12522 blocks
Has it installed correctly and if so how can I tell?
Thanks

Thanks Mitre
I was not to sure about the '[:not found'
Tried to boot into recovery, but it keeps booting up as normal.
I press and hold the volume up, while pressing the power button. After 14 seconds the balloon opening screen comes up. Am I doing it wrong?
Just for info -
Android version 2.3.4
Kernel version 2.6.36-android scroll@scroll excel
Build number 97F1-D1-H1_h01-1291-20111128
Any suggestions, as I can get my Asus Transformer into recovery mode without any problems.
Thanks

Yes thanks you, I have now done a backup with CWM.
I am now trying to flash ICS with Livesuit.
Installed the driver from the Livesuit USB folder.
I am following Suggsy's post. Started Livesuit, selected the Scroll_Excel_4.0.3_English image, powered off Scroll, held volume+ button, plugged in usb cable and pressed power button. If i keep pressing it a number of times then nothing happens. If I hold it for a few seconds then I get the sound of a device connecting. The Scroll screen stays blank and nothing happens in Livesuit.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
