Scroll excel is outdated already

Just returned from a trip to Asia ,my travels took me to a pc reseller warehouse in Malaysia two months ago ,I bought a tablet best described as a scroll excel without the logo ,100% + identical in all respects including spec! 3g dongle works seamlessly (not huwaei model!) lan connection perfect,wifi perfect, Market 100% working, skype voice 100% video still a bit hit and miss(put this down to still in beta mode), Flash works perfect on all sites,no problem with voice sync even on hd playback.best bit is i only paid the equivalent of 70 Pounds sterling with 1year warranty.When chatting to the manager i asked why the price was so cheap by comparison to uk stock and he replied that now this model has been on sale for 6 months and is outdated and replaced by new samsung chip 1.5 mhz and ics o/s which i could have bought for 120 pounds ,he also could not understand the shortage of these tablets in the uk as he has still over 1000 in stock,he also told me these tablets are branded under many different names excel tablus tablo droidpad robopad mipad privex about 25 in total all from china just like apple.i compared the the new and old tablet and found very little difference both were smooth and quick .possibly the new one had a brighter screen resolution and colour. Incidentally i used mifi in 3 different country's just buy a local prepaid 3g data sim (2 pound equivalent)for 1gb pop it in the mifi ,auto setup 30secs up and running never let me down in Thailand Borneo or Malaysia
Please dont tell me anyone has bought this tab cheaper and i have been ripped off!

The trouble with electronic gadgets is that as soon as they are released they are already outdated as new stuff is developed.

It can't be an Excel clone then!

It's always the case that today's technology is pretty well out of date by the time it exits the factory gate and tomorrow's technology is always faster, cheaper and better... that won't ever change.

If you got your Excel 'alikee' for £70 you did very well... getting on for half the price it would have cost you in the UK.

Excel probably is a clone of a clone of a clone ! bearing in mind there are probably 25 derivatives of this tab doing the rounds along the line something is going to go pear shaped ie excel lip sync, market, etc . all these tabs are generically cloned from the Samsung p1000 with plus or minus differences according to manufacturers discretion this tab was not developed exclusively for scroll only the case logo (scroll) is indigenous to its retailer `! possibly suggest scroll issue an update to version 2.3.8 baseband 1.8 as i have1
