I used Go Launcher from the market to change my home screen, looks really cool but does slow it up a bit.

Don't know any way to change the notification bar though.

It can be changed with go launcher pro, this is my scroll running it with a honey comb theme, you can press the menu button > preferences > screen settings > status bar

Nice one, and thanks for the screen shot, your Excel is looking great there.

I find ADW Launcher the best replacement launcher. There is plenty of theme choice and icon
Packs to download. If you take the time you can create the look and feel of honeycomb. I choose to hide the taskbar but have a quick taskbar launch icon. I now have widgets for Batt and time. You can also set up screen gestures to perform certain task. I have five screens and scrolling effects are superb. The main positive for me is the scroll is much slicker in response to anything I choose to run and it looks great too.
:D

Cheers
Andy
