I've just had a look and it's very close if not the same!
Going off memory, I think the spec' is identical and it certainly looks very similar!

I saw this yesterday and for sure had I compared it before buying from Ebuyer, I would have taken the gamble on it at that price.

SO are telling us that there product is unique to them and not a rebadge, so is someone at the factory selling off the "over production" units without telling SO or are SO telling fibs?

It doesn't bode well, if it's the same product and it's significantly cheaper from another source. Particularly as the company selling on eBay, is confident enough to offer a 1year RTB warranty/ guarantee on it!

Both those links to the websites are the same company - also the address is only 30 mins from me - I might pop down there later today.

Same discussions went on last year with the 1st gen scroll - that is very much like the CherryPad.

Nice find people I think all these tab fledglings are still a little quirky and I'm still waiting for the holy grail of tabs to come to the front of the flock a cpu/gpu that can handle my demands and not crash/bash or dash my hopes of having a fault free tab experience without singing my eyebrows or burning my wallet

I agree in a way, but until tablets are more popular, it's not going to happen. It really needs someone like Intel or AMD, to pair up with a tablet manufacturer with vision.

My ideal would be a tablet, designed using the same considerations as a laptop. With a replaceable battery and upgradeable internal memory etc. Maybe even supplied as a blank slate, with the choice of operating systems left down to the purchaser! After all, you don't hear of people having to Root there laptop, just to switch operating systems or to multi-boot, so why should we?

I know it would add to manufacturing costs, but if your willing to shell out for a good laptop, then why not for a quality tablet style unit but with more flexibility?
