Has anyone worked out how to get google calendar or the contacts manager on the device yet?

Its the only thing missing once you have the android market installed.

There is no "Accounts & Sync" option in the settings menu.
I've tried a couple calendar apps, but they all require your google mail account to be set up to sync.

I'd be grateful for a solution to this too.

Hi,

Not sure if you've seen this but, see viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1775

This is for installing the calendar and contact sync adapters.

To get to the "Accounts and Sync" I used the Any Cut App and added an "Activity" for Accounts and Sync which creates a shortcut on your home screen taking you directly to the screen.

You should be able configure WHAT to sync now from there. My calendar and email are working fine, contacts is another matter.

GMail app automatically picks up any google contacts, however the contacts is usually part of the dialer app I think which isn't on here because its not a phone.

Maybe an app like "Go Contacts" might allow you to sync up with google and run as a stand alone contacts app?
