Scroll Tablet PC | Scroll Excel Tablet Forum

I have just purchased 2 Scroll Excel 7" with capacitive screens for Christmas presents for my parents, I am in the process of setting them up so they are ready for Christmas day and I have been quite impressed with these tablets. I have installed the latest GMail app but I cannot find out how to add contacts records for the names, telephone numbers, postal and email addresses, I have also tried the K9 email client to no avail though the calendar app is available.

I would be grateful for any information on how and if it possible to restore and access the contacts app so my parents will be able to store names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers on their new tablets. Also is it possible to download APK files from the Android Market as I would like to install the Tesco groceries app but I keep getting the incompatible device error which I understand is due to the royalties issue but I cannot locate this app anywhere else?

if you download Astro file manager you can get to the root folder(just keep pressinn up till you get to / then search for contacts it will find the apk on the device click it and install it should work found it on mine but i dont want it installed

I have the same problem.

Found the file, but when I try to launch it, I get an error
"Activity not found - acom.android.providers.contacts".

Its relly annoying to have to enter a full email address for every email
