Just put the Tablo ICS firmware on my scroll using the instructions on the Box forum and it works like a dream. It was very easy todo. All the lip sync issues have now gone. The ICS interface really suits the Scroll.

I agree, Tablo ICS 4.0.3 firmware is good but it has unexplained restart issues that is annoying.

I've not had the restart issues. The only negative comment I have is that scrolling with the Android browser is not as smooth as the GB version. I have not tried another browser yet to see if it a browser problem or an ICS one.

Interesting, I take it that you did a factory reset/cleared cache etc after flashing ICS.

Yes I did all the resets, factory, data wipe and hard reset and in the browser it still is sluggish scrolling.

Ok, thanks for the feedback, looks more like the stock browser for ICS needs work then, its been fine for me on a wide range of devices from 2.1 to 2.3.

Has any one got a script for making the ExternalSD the default directory for apps to install?

I tried the recommended build + script. Then tried suggsys ICS fix that changes it.. now my Scroll gets stuck during boot on the green android logo, oh dear. I'm going to try and reflash ICS from the recommended build in this thread.

Interestingly after playing with tablo ICS version I have found a way go improve the browser.

In browser settings select debug and them browser mode. By default it is set to iPad! Change this to desktop and there is a dramatic increase in browser performance and more importantly smoother scrolling.

Im using the Tablo ICS image, Im finding that everytime I put it into standby it's losing or not updating the current time in the taskbar, I have unchecked the Network update for the clock in the settings and set the time manually but it's still losing the correct time. Is there something im missing or is anyone else experiencing the same thing ?

Apart from that the exel is now a joy to use with all MKV's and online TV stuff working correctly. Games also seem to be running better e.g Jetski waverace type game.

Can anyone tell me the best kids drawing app, theres so many and i dont have the patience to install and try them all.
