I dont know why but i dont seem to be getting the lypsinc issues that everyone else seems to be getting
so why is my excel different to yours?
i only really see it in bbc Iplayer and that is hardly noticable
even played a video .MKV through moboplayer no problems
Need Blueagle69 to test some video since he loaded my clockwork backup to see if hes lypsync has gone

I will test yours too. Maybe as you have had your excel for a while, it came with an earlier fw version. Like with the 1st Gen scroll I had with fw 0.94 that had no issues compared to later versions.

@Mitre.

I will test some videos tomorrow, and report my findings :)

Well unless I'm mistaken, it does seem improved.
When skipping, some videos go slightly out of sync, but it seems to rectify itself.
Will do more tests.
I was using MX Player, with hardware acceleration and no secondary codecs.
All these movies were high quality, so I will have to test some lower quality ones too. But that will definately be tomorrow now. Time to put my Excel down :-)

This is very odd....

TV catchup works fine but itv player is very sluggish. Ill try killing a few background apps and see if it improves.

Mine is like this - going to flash Mitre's backup and test with that version.

@Mitre - I had a look at the dates of the system files on your copy and its 22 nov 2011 - where on mine it is 7 dec 2011, so it does look as if you copy of fw is an earlier version.

this is probably why SO cannot emulate the problem they no doubt have the same early fw as mine and dont think its too bad an issue
