Use a file explorer and go to the folder '/system/' and find build.prop - long press on it then select from the popup menu 'Copy' (make sure that it's COPY, as you want to leave that file on your Excel, where it is.) I only need a copy of it.- Then navigate to your external SD card and paste it to there.

Put Sd card in pc and upload to dropbox or similar if you use them or email (via the forum) me it .

blinkbox doesn't work on my tab, it says it needs flash!!

For me this is a no go, as I want to be able to stream films from blinkbox.com

I believe location based services are actually gained from WIFI.
When Google drove around the streets years ago for Street View, it came out that they were also gathering WIFI signal data.
So there must be a system .apk missing in ICS that enables the WIFI location.
my Nokia 5800 has the same feature.
Even though it has GPS, it can also get a position based on WIFI location.
I just don't know when it comes to Android, where the file is.

nice work there thanks for clearing up the chatter on other forums regarding battery and heat issues
I was thinking of flashing the ICS rom today but think i am going to wait a while as flash support is quite important to me see i dont want 4.x.x just to say i have it if its a step backward

Hi Mitre

Fair enough, BBC Local Radio Streaming, no lipsync on movie playback and Skype Video working were the big drivers behind my decision to apply the update. My other big use is YouTube and that works fine with ICS. The BBC iplayer would have been nice but I'm not too bothered about it and I'm sure someone, somewhere will sort that issue out soon.

Flash support for ICS started at version 11.1.xx

The latest ICS is 4.0.3 wondering if this has any bearing on flash issues

@Mitre - Thanks... What I'm wondering is not the version no.of ICS, but the version no. of Flash.

If @rayhertford's device reports that it's got a version of Flash pre 11.1.xx, it may not support / be supported by ICS.

With ICS, I'm sure a build of 4.0.3 will surface at some stage and this may be more suitable for our needs.

ive only just picked up on this I have had Tunin radio on my Excel since i got it in December so there must be a difference between your Tablo firmware and the Excel
