on my 2.1 scroll i have the ability to change the HDMI settings
1920x1080p 60hz
1280x720p 60hz
720x576p 50hz
720x480 60hz
640x480 60hz
its in settings/sound and display/HDMI settings...
have they removed this on 2.3?

Could try the 'Anycut' app to make a link the the setting menu if it is just hidden, and not completely removed now.

@Mitre, I dont have any of those options when I go into display settings, yet the user manual I received with it says I can change output settings in the display settings menu.
@Charlie, I've downloaded the "Anycut" app, but I'm not sure what to do from there.

I just phoned the technical helpline at storage options. The guy told me that my excel will only output to a 1080p tv. so it looks like i only have two options, think I'll opt for a replacement 1080p tv.

Is that just for video output, or for everything?
It would be strange if the 800 x 480 output of games etc would only work with a 1080p TV???

I think it's everything. I don't have any options in display settings to change the output.
