RAM 256MB DDR2 RAM

We do have 512MB DDR3 on the Excel - The OP has a Scroll Special Edition 8"

yer its just feeling a bit laggy and also the internel storage is week. - yes i know i can move things off to the 8gb flash but some things will not go there and others will but run slow.

The Excel does have 512MB RAM - there is no such thing as 316MB RAM - The app reports that, as that is what is left after the OS has reserved/taken what it needs.

Correct as usual Charlie, my viewpad has 256 but only reports 171.5
