Is there anyway to enable and disable headphone/headset mode on the Excel with ICS?
It seems that the headphone jack on the Excel is simply a dumb terminal, that disconnects the speaker when a jack is connected.
I was testing an audio eq app that only kicks in when headphones are connected. But of course, because the Excel cannot detect headphone mode, the app keeps asking for headphones, whether they are plugged in or not.
I did try shouting at my beloved Excel, saying that the headphones were plugged in That, oddly-enough, didn't work either.
In this case, "There's an app for that", doesn't seem to be true
BTW.
The new banner at the top of this wonderful forum, states "For all your support queries regarding your Scroll, go to storageoptions.com/support directly" is really funny. Do they do support now too?
