MicroSD card won't stay in

Has anyone else had this issue?

I've not even bought a MicroSD card for my Excel yet, It just so happened I tried putting my phones microSD into the scroll today and it wouldn't click into place.

I have tried both ways just to make sure

The actual slot does work, when I hold in the microSD card it detects it and I can read the files. Any one else had this happen?

Looks like i'm going to need to send it back to ebuyer

Yep, this happened to me - I had to use the tip of a stylus (one that came with my old Scroll) or a biro would do. Just to get it in that extra 1-2 mm so that it clicks into place.

P.S. On mine the sd card is about 2mm below the casing (when clicked into place) - not flush & not sticking out.

Thanks Charlie, just used a pen to push it in that extra couple of millimeters! I was afraid to do it in case my SD card got stuck and wouldn't come out.

I thought the same when I did it, as i thought I had a faulty sdcard slot. - But all was ok in the end.

Same here, I used another micro SD to push it in.
