How long are you getting from a full charge ?

Maybe I just need to give it a full 16 hour charge without using it.... tough luck little tablet, you're new and getting used until I fall asleep

Bearing in mind what I said in my previous post that I fully charged the scroll and basically left in in permenant standby mode i.e. on but not using it for anything at all, the results are the device has turned itself off after 18 hours (eighteen hours) 15 or so minutes due to only 5% battery remaining.

Again I stress that the scroll was doing nothing but keeping itself on for all this time, no wi-fi or screen being used (apart from checking to see if it was still on twice).

I will remove the final telephone apk (thanks charlie) and recharge and use the scroll tomorrow to see what the life is like during routine use....

18 hours standby has got to be better than it would have been with all the cell stuff running

I'm really looking forward to this update.zip - having a tablet you can charge overnight, and then take out for the day without worrying about a charge point would be great

I have had a look in the location you suggested for the voicedialer.apk (data/apps), however, I still cannot find it.

Any thoughts?

It should be in system/apps as we 1st thought - but it's not, maybe we don't have to worry about it, it could be a v 2.2 app.

EDIT - looks like voicedialer is for Bluetooth & since we don't have BT perhaps it was not installed, yet the scroll is also not a phone but we got those system apps -

I am running a search with a root file manager (Super ... something) and it says it has found 1 file with my query of VoiceDialer

Taking a long time to finish searching, but i`ll post what it finds when it finishes

Still searching.... feels like it is stuck and not really searching, I`ll give it another 5 minutes

Cant be that many files for it to be searching through, would have thought it to be done by now, what do you think ?

Ok the search finished, and it is called

VoiceDialer.g2g

But it is only showing me it inside the search folder - trying to find its original location
