SO diddnt even get the Scroll V1 right (no market etc) . How are they going to legitimately sell a V2?

It is quite different - trackball, casing, max SD card limit etc.

I was in my local Maplin's yesterday and saw this device on the shelf: It definitely is NOT a Scroll (As we know it, at least !)
Apart from the pre-loaded apps, it seems inferior to the Scroll anyway.

Interestingly, the specs say it has 3G dongle support (limited compatibility) I wonder if we can get a dongle working with our old scrolls once we know which ones are compatible...

I've been doing some reading around and it seems some people with android tablets have been having luck by using APN settings with their 3G dongles. Unfortunately by APN settings always 'force close' on me so I can't try it out...I wonder if it might work for a Scroll?

looked at one in person at my local maplin last week..they are hefty and doesnt look as nice IMO. I slipped in a question as to if the 7" scroll would drop in price and also if they will stock the new 8" scroll and they said they think it will stay 130GBP for "the next few months" :/ oh well, I'll keep checking back there!
