Ok, slightly envious here, just found this in my e-mail and was drooling a bit at the specifications - especially for the similar price band - views/opinions?

According to androidtablets.net - it's basically a Galaxy Tab clone (minus the 3G and bluetooth features)

2.2, more memory and a better A8 cortex (i.e. flash 10 out of the box!) processor.

£38 more than maplin and £63 more than Tesco for the Scroll.

The battery seems a bit on the small side.

The 2mp camera would be nice though.

<<Weight (kg) : 3.00>> Image

Weight cock-up aside, I don't like the micro usb port and the apparent lack of a usb host too. Or perhaps it's just sour grapes ...

Yeah, battery caught my eye too - then again we were talking a while back about looking for Li-Po batteries for the scroll - maybe the same could be applied.

Though I'm not sure I could justify the use of a second tablet.

Though I could buy it on the basis of it being a tablet for my staff to use as necessary...

I'm sticking with my scroll until Android 3 is rolled out properly. Hopefully we might see tablets with capacitive screens drop in price too.

Thank you for this post, it looks interesting. does the amount of RAM matter on the scrolls as to whether it can run apps compared to the linked one?
I am considering either just staying with the bog standard scroll 7" or the 8" version which has just been released as far as I'm aware?
