Surely not possible, but then again there is always some new gadget round the corner to prove you wrong.
This device has been around for some months but is also newly launched by Humax of Freesat and Freeview set top box fame and is called Tivizen TV.
Tivizen claims to be a portable rechargeable streaming device which will show up in your WIFI list and works utilising an app for both android and the iPad. The app for android tablets is available free from Play store: http://tinyurl.com/6okttwlwhereas the device itself is available here http://tinyurl.com/7ea4uvy for the hefty sum of £79.00 as a one off payment which may be deemed reasonable as there are no further subscription charges. Also claims to allow you to record TV to your device.
