1GHz CPU InfoTM® Imapx210 ARM11
7” TFT 800 x 480 Capacitive
512MB DDR2 RAM
4GB, Micro SD Card Expandable Up to 32GB
0.3MP Front
3.7V 3000mAh Li-Polymer Rechargeable Battery
3 Axis G-Sensor
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
Video Output via Mini HDMI
USB Host Port USB host x1, USB OTGx1

That tablet is about 4 years old, the cpu is horrible and it uses the older mini usb. If they charge around £40 then it might be a good buy, but I doubt it.

Aye, we all know what you are thinking and I agree.

SO seem to bring out a "new" tablet every other day, well that's a lie, they would if they could, however they do bring out a new one every few weeks. They need to stop thinking about whether they "could" and start thinking if they "should" be bringing out so many tablets so close together when the ones they do bring out have varying degrees of bugs/issues & are hardly supported by them.

Also +1. SO would have a lot more respect from users on here as well as anyone who has ever bought a product from the company IF SO supported its products well.

Agree. I'm sure they want to get 'first mover advantage' with every new model, hence the reason for pushing new models out ASAP, but surely a slightly more spanned out & structured release schedule would be better, like 1 every 6 months? Oh well... time to update the forum again with the new 'engage' model :)

S.O. have re-blogged on their site today about their new flagships:
http://www.storageoptions.com/blog/the- ... omment-467

I have left this as their first outsider comment:

"I am curious to understand why it is you choose to bring out so many new models so very quickly on top of each other but offer little or no support to the one's already sold. As soon as I think about buying one model you announce yet another. If I wait a few more weeks, how many more new models will be available? This does not encourage me to buy a Scroll tablet at all."

I will let you know if they respond to it...

@TC - I might be wrong here, but it looks like SO have removed you comment already, if this is correct it shows their true colours

Not sure what's going on there actually Charlie as someone who posted after me is visible but my post still says awaiting moderation approval
Maybe they simply won't give it then they can't be accused of deleting my comment.

@Charlie: I just checked the SO blog using a different PC and sure enough a glowing comment has been allowed through but my comment which was first, still awaits moderation. Any bets on it doesn't ever get it?
