Mid-life crisis my arse! I WANT one!

It makes my old Suzuki GT750 look like a moped!

Very nice too :D I have always wanted a decent bike but my loved one says "no, you'll be dead in a week"!! She's probably right as on all the main roads in Lincolnshire, they put up notices, updated monthly telling you how many died on our roads this year and compare it with last year's figure. So far we are down on last year ;) Most deaths are of course bike riders and unlike the IoM we do have speed limits.

Ironically, I could legally drive that bike as I hold a full motorcycle licence by virtue of passing my test, many many years ago on a 150cc Lambretta  So long ago in fact, crash helmets were not a legal requirement!!! I live 5 miles from Cadwell Park were they hold the Superbike Championship August Bank Holiday weekend and you cannot move on the roads for bikes and more bikes :D

I had my GT750 (what was known as a "bubbly") until I was 20. Ah! those were the days! I used to deliberately pour redex into the bores and rev the guts out of it just to p%$$ the neighbours off! Passed my test on an old Honda 250 Super-Dream in 1981

I have seen one of those "Boss Hoss" bikes at a large Harley dealership in Canterbury some months ago. The damn thing had a 9 litre V8 shoe-horned into it! When the owner rode it away all the traffic stopped!
