Even just downloading the free app ZEDGE from the market and changing ringtones and wallpapers will be hours and hours of interesting fun, then there is google navigation, soundhound and about 150,000 other apps that run so smoothly on this little beaut. I am afraid my Scroll is sulking in the cupboard and has been for a week or two since I got mine. Its a bit like taking an elderly relative out in a wheelchair after driving a Jag,

Inevitably, I am comparing it to the Pulse Mini and although the Apollo generally reacts faster, I feel that the capacitive screen is not as responsive or as precise as the resistive screen of the Pulse! Might have something to do with my big fingers though :) Slightly larger display a plus but method of removing back a minus ;)

I love the capacitive screen of the Apollo - very smooth and accurate, way better than the scroll, don't know about the Pulse as I don't have one. Also the Swype keyboard is very cool, once you get the hang of it :)

I agree, overall it's very good, performs just like my Galaxy Tab or will be when Froyo is released ;) It's just occasionally I have trouble with the screen accuracy, particularly in a browser.

My Pulse has been pushed aside, in fact just transferred Copilot from it and the slightly larger screen is a bonus!! It also has the smallest power adapter I have ever seen!

Aye it is small, but really cool - I laughed when they showed it to me in the shop, I said "where is the rest of it?" - Very easy to carry about if you need to - I also had a Samsung car charger from and old phone that is useful to have and use in the car. So far I get 2 - 2 1/2 days use out of the phones battery, from a few tweaks I have done, and yes I am using the phone a lot during this time :)

KIES

Anyone know why Kies is taking about 4 months to download an update from Samsung, I only get about 1 meg download speed anyway but this update version 2.0.0.11032-12 update 17.4.2011, and it keeps disconnecting from the internet so you have to keep pressing re-try, at present on 205039 files downloading !!!! after 4 hours.

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

Just out of interest, has anyone set up an email account (not Gmail) on the Apollo?

Although I have configured it to show incoming mail on the Notification Bar, it doesn't!! Set to scan for mail every 5 minutes. Gmail works as it should :?

Any ideas?
