There is an android emulator integrated into the Playbook, but whether it can be redesigned to work on the Bold is another matter. Given the Bold's specs I doubt it (says he scouring the service manual) If you want more info stick a post in the relevant section on the other forum and in the meantime ill ping an email to the RIM developers asking the question.

Im still having issues with redirecting the site when a mobile browser is used. Blasted nuisance!

On a plus note: The forum now has a twitter page @mobilefoneforum and a Facebook page here.

Not that I personally use the above social media, but I feel it would be a good way to "get the word out". If you do use these, please feel free to "like" the relevant pages.

Not sure about Facebook though - hope it doesn't bring a downside.
I use FB to keep up with some of my dipsarate family members but its like Google and want's to come live with you when you create an account.

That's the best description for Facebook (well a polite one anyway) I have ever heard. I tried FB in 2008 for 8 months - It's just not for me.

Thanks tc. The forum isnt physically connected to fb or twitter so if it attracts idiots i will close the fb and twitter accounts. I decided to not link the logins for safety reasons.

I need the site tested on as many different browsers as possible please. Im aware that the portal does not show correctly with a mobile browser (there is little I can do about it - im trying to work out how to redirect mobile browsers to a different page)

A quick update to this, there is now a fully automatic mobile version of the site available, but I need it tested with different devices.
