I'm addicted to the Scroll, but I have obsessional tendencies anyway! 2 reasons come to mind. It's fun trying to get way more fun and functionality out of a "bargain basement" product than you have any right to expect - a sort of finger up at the owners of expensive branded tablets.
This forum is also a very pleasant place to be, it doesn't seem plagued by the arrogant know-alls some forums are, and quite a few of us seem on the same android/linux learning curve, using an unknown generic China-made tablet - there's something perversely attractive about that! It's also predominantly a UK forum, make of that what you will
