How to connect Scroll to PC for ADB

This might be obvious to some, but I can't find out which USB driver to use in Windows XP to enable ADB to work for app. development and debugging.

There is no mention in the manual, nor on the StorageOptions website.

If some one knows, I'd be grateful ;-)

If you head here... https://scrolltabletforum.sevo.uk/site/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=127The clockwork mod zip file has custom drivers in (Just incase *for sure* the generic google ones in adb sdk don't work). I used pdanet http://www.junefabrics.com/android/ to install drivers which worked beautifully in xp and win7.

Ok, I've resolved it ;)

The Google USB driver can be coerced into working by adding the vendor/product ID (VID_18D1&PID_DEED) to it thus:
[Google.NTx86]
; Scroll
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_DEED&MI_01

The complete file is attached; save it over the existing file (C:\Program Files\Android SDK\google-usb_driver\android_winusb.inf) and use this when installing/updating the driver.

Thanks to JimmyW for his help, but I couldn't download the zip file from the post referenced.

Hey

Thanks for this post Dave. It worked perfectly - I justed edited the .inf (which previously wouldnt work) as you described by pasting in the lines above, saved it and it worked straight away.

USB debugging interface up and running....
