The Google USB driver can be coerced into working by adding the vendor/product ID (VID_18D1&PID_DEED) to it thus: [Google.NTx86] ; Scroll %CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_DEED&MI_01 The complete file is attached; save it over the existing file (C:\Program Files\Android SDK\google-usb_driver\android_winusb.inf) and use this when installing/updating the driver.

Thanks for this post Dave. It worked perfectly - I justed edited the .inf (which previously wouldnt work) as you described by pasting in the lines above, saved it and it worked straight away.
