Didn't think Skype worked as wrong hardware to run it... thought your finding the update meant they'd revised it enough to work on our hardware.

I have fully working Skype. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I got there as I had previously given up on it. The only thing I can tell you is that my Skype version is 16778047. (That's the version number that application manager displays, see my next post).

This link has a download for the same skype version as I have:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... 32&page=19

Edit: It turns out that my version is actually 1.0.3, or build 1.0.0.831. I have no idea why it is working but it is.

Some of the things I have done to my scroll are:

Rooted (with superoneclick)
Installed launcher pro
Installed clockwork mod
Renamed the 3 phone apps
Replaced build.prop with the one off this site
Installed fring and made a test call

I would love to know why I seem to be the only one who has skype working. Skype is the absolute icing on the cake, my scroll is now a phone if I want.
