Hi Folks

Angry Birds Rio seems to work fine on my scroll. I don't think it's rated as highly as the original, but at least everything displays properly.

i have an issue with the backgrounds being displayed as just white :/

Hmm, I wonder if that's the firmware or the build.prop. Did you go for the 160 definition? (I didn't).

i had to change back from the 160 as it was affecting my ebooks, and it would appear that that was the reasom i was having issues with the background too.

hmm, ok, so it worked for 1 play, and now the background has gone again. odd.

and a further test would seem to show that wifi on causes the background to not show either. maybe to do with ad support.

Hmm, I might have got a bit too excited, I sometimes get the background issue and sometimes don't. I have had a white background with correctly displayed adverts and a proper background with no adverts (wi-fi on). It all seems a bit random. Still much better than the white menus of the original game though.

I've found I can consistently get it working fine if; I turn off account sync / background data | all animations off and clear memory with a task manager before launching. I also use zeam launcher and let it manage the backgrounds for the main desktop. So it's as lightweight as it gets. This is with a stock v1 firmware with only the name changed in the build prop.

I can't get Rio or Seasons to even down load... i go to the android market and try to down load from my pc/ send to device, it says its doing it and then tat it is done... on the tablet it shows it has started down loading and then just disapears?!?!? any one know what i can do to fix this or a link to a "working" down load?

Go to 4shared.com on your scroll. search for angry birds rio. I used v1 2 2. You have to wait 20 sec before downloading. Hit download. Once downloaded onto your scroll tap file to install. Works fine for me.
