Read today that Amazon have launched an App store for Android. Don't have my Scroll with me at the moment, but here is the link on Amazon's site.

I shall check it out later to see if I can download and install Apps ok . It could be a good alternative to the Market Place that we don't have access to.

I've installed it OK but it insists that you must have a one-click payment method set up (even for free stuff). I tried to set it up but it requires a mobile number, which the Scroll doesn't have, of course.

I also noticed that Angry Birds is $0.99 as opposed to free.

Tried it last night on my phone and it dont work if you are in the UK.

It requests either your phone number or email address, so I guess it's checking your location from them.

I did'nt get chance to try to install it last night. That's not good to hear. It does say for Mobile and Tablet. I will stick to Slide Me and The Pit for now, unless someone post a positive result on the Amazon App later!
