Hi

Anyone know if this will work with the Scroll ? And would it be of use. and would it allow hard transfer of files, media etc between PC and Scroll.......oh how I love shiny bits of kit

The Scroll doesn't have a VGA output so this wouldn't work.

A KVM switch allows you to use one screen, keyboard and mouse (and audio on some) on two PCs.
I've not come across any that allow file transfer as well (although I've not looked too deeply).

But Im Sooooooooooooooooo disappointed, I want lovely shiny bits of kit to connect to my Scroll. Is there not anything similar anyone can recommend ???

Yes it's a nice bit of kit, (StarTech.com 2 Port Mini USB KVM Kit) but not much use for the scroll.
