@brianzion

That does look like a nice case - but your scroll will slide around in it though.

Oh i see - that would fit nicely. Nice idea, if using for the scroll and keyboard/case + you would have space for some accessories in the front pocket. :D

I've ordered a square of neoprene off eBay so I can make my own sleve that's a perfect fit. That's the plan anyway...

You fancy making a few? I would buy one off you.

the scroll fits nicely inside the inner pocket with room for the earphone adapter to be left attached, and theres loads of room inside for everything else, charger and accessory cables, external HDD, mini usb keyboard, as well as my lunch :D

Let's see if I can make one first! :lol: It's a 30x30cm square, so it should just be big enough to fold over and stitch up one side and then turn inside out for neatness. I think.

There are lots of great looking cases out there, but I want something really snug that the scroll wont rattle around in, and that isn't huge. The scroll is supposed to be a super portable device, so I don't want the case making it all bulky in my bag.

Soooo, apparently neoprene is a real sod to put through a sewing machine! It's stretchy, as well as rubbery. So it wont feed through the machine easily, and it's really hard to get a straight line of stitching! :?

Fortunately my lovely wife took over before I seriously injured myself, and managed to knock up just the kind of thing I was after. Very simple, nice and thin, but affording some basic protection to the scroll. I went for a nice simple tuck in flap rather than fuss about with velcro or poppers.
