Scroll Tablet SOKPAD

Postby aeroalex » December 23rd, 2010, 7:29 pm

The Scroll tablet has a case available called the SOKPAD, it is a leather filp case with a built in keyboard which would be perfect for writing documents or sending an e-mail. The tablet fits onto one side of the case whist the keyboard is on the other. The keyboard is connected via the USB port on the bottom of the device and is plug and play. The case also acts as a stand so that when you are typing using the case, the tablet itself is supported upright making it look like a laptop.

Thank Alex, yep i'd seen that before, put think i'd prefer a padded sleeve myself, something thin but with lots of support. I've contacted a supplier about sleeves like this, but not heard back from them yet. In the meantime, I think some cases/sleeves for the Samsung Galaxy MAY fit the Scroll because they are very similar in size - but it depends, you have to check the dimensions of each one carefully.

Yeah I think I'm going to go for a sleeve rather than the SOKPAD as they cost less and are more convient! I've been looking on amazon and there are some cheap Ones available! Perfect

I ordered mine from Amazon the same day I ordered the scroll, is hasnt arrived yet though]

Im not expecting it to be amazing for £19.99 but it will keep the screen safer while im out and about, and a hardware keyboard is always easier to type with

with the one i have the fit is so tight it looks like i will do more damage to the scroll putting it in and taking out. plus it really makes the scroll into a big heavy item.

I am thinking of ways to mod that case to suit me better :)
