Scroll Excel Keyboard/Case

Hi

I can see other posts re the above for other Scroll models but does anyone know of a keyboard/case combi that works for the Excel? I ordered one from Amazon (in advance of receiving my Excel) however it is too big. Any other suggestions?

Did you order the 7inch version or the 8inch? They do both!

I get my Excel on 11 or 12th Jan and I've ordered the 7inch version. I hope it fits, but I'm sure I'll be able to adapt it if it doesn't!

I ordered mine on the back of the Gadget Show review but I wasnt aware they did an 8" version - I thought it was just a 7" version? The item from Amazon said it was compatible but it isnt (as other people have mentioned, it slides out of the case!).

I was referring to the keyboard size, not the tablet. Amazon do a keyboard for a 7inch and one for an 8inch tablet. Both look identical, but one is just bigger than the other!

I have a 32GB SDHC card already and my keyboard arrived today, so I'm just waiting for the Excel to arrive.

I think that the issue with the keyboard case, can be solved very simply with a small Velcro dot available from B&Q!

The one I bought is this:

My Excell isn't due to arrive until the 11th or 12th of January, so I just hope it fits correctly!!!

The one you've bought is the same as the one I've bought. It's a nice case/keyboard but the 3 internal brackets that hold the Excel in place are too far apart to hold the Excel. Emailed the supplier (we both bought from the same one) and they have confirmed that it should be Excel compatible (but it isn't) but they have offered a £4 refund and to keep the item (it was shipped from Hong Kong).

So back to the drawing board

Thanks for the update. I'll get in contact with them as well, as it's clearly not as stated. I'm sure I can live with it, for a £4 refund though!

My Excel should be delivered on the 11th and I think I'll try to modify my case to fit or go for the Velcro fix!
