USB Hub (7port)

Postby barrelockingnut » January 29th, 2011, 2:50 am

Not exactly an accessory for the Scroll, even perhaps the other way round, however I can thoroughly recommend this hub ( and its cheap) for plugging in all the toys you've got. Had mine for a while and very impressed, so if your desktop is cluttered and festooned with usb cables etc, this is a good buy.

been using these for a long time they are very good to you get power adapter included usb cable and stand good value for the price £6.40 total (with the postage) >> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/7-Port-USB-2-0-HU ... 221wt_1089 :)

High Quality USB 2.0 7 Port Hub With 3A Power Adapter

.... from supplier ....This High Quality plug and play 7 port USB 2.0 hub with UK power adapter is fully compliant with the USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 specification. This convenient devise allows you to connect up to a maximum of 127 USB devices to your PC through daisy chain.
It allows you to simultaneously connect up to 7 USB devices such as mice, keyboards, memory drives, MP3 players, printers and more.

Allows you to conveniently connect USB headphones, USB Speakers and USB Microphone without having to reach behind your computer every time. Its unique feature even allow you for charging any USB peripherals.

The power adapter is not necessary, but some products need enough power to operate and in such cases our 3A power adapter can be very useful because even using products which need enough large power you can expand your USB ports up to 7 easily, which common 7 Port USB Hub’s with 1.5 ampere Power adapters can not support. We recommend you to use Pluscom 7 port Hub with 3A Power Adapter in case you use products which needs large power to operate.

The Maplin one does only come with a 2A power supply. In theory it should be capable of 3.6A (7 x 0.5A per port + 0.1A for the Hub).
