Possible re-organising of the forum?

Postby Warpedflash » January 5th, 2011, 9:44 am

This forum is proving nice so far but the number of topics is a bit much and some overlap into others. The "Mods" section is bad for this at the moment because Upgrades/Modification/Hacking all mind of merge into each other. Could it be Seperated into something like:
-Hardware
-Software (OS)
Each area is seperate and there will be less overlap.
The same is true of the Operating system sub forum as it again overlaps with the mods one, Could it be renamed to something like "Android General"?

The forums are great they just need to be filterd a bit so there is less overlap between sections othewise if this becomes bigger people will get confused and there will be a lot of repeated posts.

I did think there were an awful lot of sub forums.

Hardware / Software (OS) / Software (Apps) would be good.

And then a General forum and an Admin one and maybe a couple of others :D

Software (Apps) would make sence as well :)

Basically we just need distinct sections for each one :D

I'm working on it guys - give me a few days there's loads I want to do on here to make it better for you all.
In the meantime post where you feel most relevant and if needed i'll move threads around after re-organising.
Cheers.
