Help needed please

Have been to embarrassed to ask for help, really am bad on computers. Bought an apple thinking they were all the same a few years ago

Have done nothing to my scroll since the day that got it of the misses for Christmas. Downloaded Kindle, happy to read ebooks, and check email, keep an eye on ebay not selling buying. Downloaded a few apps from the market and happy the way it's going, feel that I'm not using it to the full potential.

Keep reading about gingerbread is it 2.3 and it sounds good, what I'm asking is can it be downloaded to my scroll with the one I have below, from the market. Did try it but uninstalled as it all went pear shaped on me, the screen went upside down. Bit wary of messing to much as it usually ends in tears.

Any help would be most welcome.
Regards,

Mark.

Gingerbread can not be downloaded from the Market, Gingerbread is the operating system

The gingerbread you can get from the market is only the launcher, the Home screen and app draw.

Thanks Detection, must be getting mixed up, was trying to locate below what Stu posted without any joy. Have searched high and low for it for a couple of days, think it's a bit out of my league.

Be sure to check the download section with the 'one click easy install' zip file of 2.3 Gingerbread - works on all Scrolls regardless of firmware.

Sorry my friend, but that was just humor. We thought we were obvious as we were so extreme in what we were saying, but I guess we were maybe a little too subtle.
