Encoding DVD to mpeg4 for Scroll?

I'd love to be able to watch my DVD colection on my tablet, but have hit a total blank as to how to encode to a viewable format.
Has anyone managed to convert a DVD to a format the scroll will recognise?

NB NOT a piracy question - I own valid software to make the DVD image, just not in MPEG4 or AVI format.

Which format is better to use, and what software do you use to do the encoding?
Many thanks in advance for help - so far the Scroll does what I want - but in this case ... :D
Kit.

I agree. If you own the DVD already and just want a divx or xvid copy to play on the Scroll, it's easier,if your broadband's up to it, to just google & download it from one of the many dodgy music/video forums.

So long as you don't download anything you don't own by accident Image
