Does anyone know of a multiple (or at least a couple ) of mini usb right angled female connectors that you can use with the Scroll.My concern that with both usb miniports being constantly connected and disconnected, with keyboard and peripherals, the supplied ports "on case" will quickly wear or deteriorate, making the connections loose. Anyone with any knowledge if they even exist ??

Should work fine if it is, USB connectors are straight through 4 pin, so this one should work with the scroll without issue.

Dont worry about wear and tear on the ports - My mobile phone is a couple years old and is used constantly in and out of the mini USB port - no wear at all

My educated guess is that the scroll will die long before the ports do

Mini USB ports dont tend to pack up, only if they are misused (ie by not lining up the plug correctly). You shouldnt have a problem.

The best durability for a USB connector I can find on the web is 10,000 cycles. Assuming cheaper USB connectors have been used the wear out will be less than this

BTW 10,000 cycles = 27 years @ 1 cycle per day. So I think the Scroll will discarded before the USB connectors wear out. Of course you could try inserting and removing the USB connector at say once every 10 seconds in which case it may last almost 28 hours!
