Hi. I just received the scroll as a christmas present. I followed the instructions in the manual to "upgrade to latest firmware" which gave me the android marketplace icon. The first time I clicked on this I went thrugh to setting up a gmail account, but every time I have clicked on it since I just get a server error with retry or cancel. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the marketplace but it had no effect. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks.

Server errors can be common in the Marketplace, Try clearing the cache:
1. Navigate to settings
2. Press Applications
3. Press Manage
4. Find Market, Press it
5. Scroll down to find Cache
6. Press Clear Cache
Now try the market again.

Thanks. I tried clearing the cache as you describe but I still get the same error. Any other suggestions?

I have just had the same message, when accessing the market, but it was because i had just gone out of range of wifi, once back in range i clicked 'retry' and I was back. Not sure if this will help.
Cheers

Tried marketplace this morning and it worked. Maybe I needed to reboot after clearing the cache. Thanks everyone for suggestions.

I have been having the same problem with Market disappearing and server errors. I found this worked for me:
1. Navigate to settings
2. Press Applications
3. Press Manage
4. Find Market, Press it
5. Scroll down to find Uninstall Updates
6. Press Uninstall Updates
Hope that helps
