Hi Guys
I've rooted before, I had a vega tablet and desire HD both running custom roms but I'm having great difficulty finding how to root my scroll basic plus, I just need a simple guide I've managed to get the ADB drivers on the scroll but need to know if I have to put the scroll into recovery mode before flashing any roms any time I try to use oneclick root it says it cant find my device. Any help would be appreciated.

Uncertain about this as there appears to be two versions of the Scroll Basic +
One has: Hardware: 1GHz CPU InfoTM®Imapx210, ARM11 Processor
The other has: Hardware: Allwinner A13, 1.2HGz Processor
I suspect you will have more chance with the A13 but I have no personal experience on this model tablet.
Are you certain it is not already rooted?

Execute the SU command and if the cursor changes from a $ to a # then the unit is already rooted.

I managed to get the tablet rooted last night but the screen calibration is super sensitive and way off, I have the 1GHz CPU InfoTM®Imapx210, ARM11 Processor my next challange is to get clockwork recovery and google accounts on it
