Overdrive library ebooks

Has anyone used Overdrive to access library ebooks on their Scroll?

My Scroll Extreme is great with kindle and aldiko. I can open Overdrive which seems an okay ebook reader. I just don't seem to be able to download books from the library. When I click download, I get a this page does not exist message. Someone suggested that it might be because I can't get Adobe Digital Editions on my Scroll. I have contacted the library. They have no suggestions. Overdrive has not been helpful.

If anyone has used Overdrive or has an ideas I would love to hear them.
Thanks

I have used Overdrive from the library for some time now but not on my Tablet but with a dedicated Ebook reader.

The process goes something like this :

You need ADE on the PC and you register that so that you can download the book and read it on the PC. When you connect your Book reader to the PC using USB ADE recognises it and you can then transfer the book onto the reader as it is an "authorised device". The process is a little messy and I don't know if it's possible to get ADE to recognise your Extreme it might if you could connect it and fire up a suitable reader app.

I understand it that once you have the EPUB (complete with DRM wrapper) on the PC there may be ways of removing the DRM so you can then transfer the unencumbered EPUB to the Extreme and read it with your favourite EPUB reader, however it would be against the rules of the forum to discuss how to do such things if indeed it was possible ;-)

Have you had a look at the mobileread forums - a wealth of advice on all things Ebook related.

Alternatively does this help : http://help.overdrive.com/article/0479/ ... th-Android
