Faulty excel 2.3 tablet
I bought my scroll excel 2.3.4 on the release date back in Dec 2011 and have had issues with my excel randomly rebooting and process not responding messages. These issues have increased in frequency to the extent that I could stand it no more and returned it to storage options under the warranty. Storage options identified a fault on the tablet and replaced it within 3 days but replaced it with the same model and build number.
build 97f1-d1-h1-h01-1291-20111128
part number 53715
When I turned the new replacement tablet on it rebooted within 2 minutes of turning it on and then it came up with a process error - force close or wait message. I did not have a chance to do anything to the replacement tablet other than turn it on. I am concerned that this tablet is showing the same issues as my old faulty unit and that this will continue to randomly reboot and show process unresponding messages.
I loved the scroll excel but it has become so unstable whilst doing anything on it, ie surfing the net, playing games or just on standby etc that I have fallen out of love with it. I bought it specifically to watch films etc whilst travelling and was disappointed at the outset with the lip sync issues but put up with this as a minor issue but continual rebooting and process failures is the last straw.
Has anyone had the same issues and will storage options refund the purchase price under the manufacturer warranty scheme?
In addition is the scroll excel 4.0 more stable or does it suffer the same problems? I read somewhere on here that the scroll extreme also suffers random reboot problems, is this correct?
