hi folks, another dunce question. I'm trying to d/load and install skype on my wife's elite following instructions which say go to google play store. I'm going round in circles as it says that I haven't clicked the white basket.
I've looked for answers on google but there's not much simple help. I spoke to a workmate who's using android on his phone and he showed me how easy it is via marketplace. The only thing is that I don't recall seeing that icon on the tablet , maybe I just didn't notice it.I'm in work atm so can't check it .

Is it as easy as it looks and is there an icon for marketplace?

thanks for any help.

jim

Out of the box the current batch of Elites don't come with the Play Store / Marketplace.

Instead using an application called SlideMe. Skype might be available to download from there.

Or else, the latest 1.1 firmware from Storage Options does have the Google store.

You have got to dig a bit but it is there on the firmware updates page under support.
When you get there scroll down until you find the Elite firmware: http://www.storageoptions.com/support/firmware
