Hope this is not a stupid question

I have not yet purchased a tablet but hope to in the near future. I have however been looking at the Google play site to see what apps are available, what is not made clear to me at least is wether or not apps for phones will work on tablets. :)

the short anwer is yes if you have an android phone most apps will work on the tablet even if you cant download fom play store you can sideload from sdcard or dropbox some older phone specific apps may look a little odd on the larger screen but most still work fine

There are no stupid questions really. Just those we can answer, and those we can't.
The first Kindle reader I had on my scroll said "This will be removed from your phone" when I uninstalled it to replace it with a newer version. My mobile is ancient, so the tablet was my first experience with the Android OS. On mine, if an app was not compatible, it usually chucked up an error when trying to install the .apk file.
